China loses to Italy at Volleyball Classic

defeat at the women's volleyball Classic in Switzerland, losing to Italy 3-2 in
a Group A match.
However, with two victories in the previous matches, the Chinese team tops
group rankings and has secured a place in the last four.
China beat the US three games to none on Wednesday, and upset European
Champions Poland 3-1 yesterday.
In other competitions on Friday, Poland eased to beat the US 3-0 in another
Group A match, while Germany stunned Guba with the same score in Group B.
