Coco's film Master of Everything

Chinese-American singer Coco Lee's debut film "Master of Everything" took home the Best Foreign Film Award at the just concluded Beverly Hills Film Festival in California.

Hong Kong pop diva Coco Lee always appears on stage dressed in the latest styles, but in her first film she plays a simple country girl.

The comedy film, co-starring Hong Kong star Lone John, talks about a country girl who dreams of becoming a film star, and a boy who falls in love with her. Together with a group of inexperienced peasants, they start to shoot a film about her.

The honor has signaled a good beginning for the film's coming release in North America.
