Japanese foreign minister arrives in Beijing

Japanese Foreign Minister Machimura Nobutaka arrived in Beijing Sunday for a two-day visit to China.

Machimura Nobutaka became foreign minister in September 2004. He visited China in 1999 heading a delegation from the Association of Dietmen League for Japan-China Friendship, an organization aiming at promoting exchanges between politicians of the two countries.
