Players from the banned Shaanxi Guoli club pleaded with the China Football Association (CFA) for job opportunities in a public letter published on a local newspaper Tuesday.

The letter, signed by 28 players from the former first division soccer club, said all the players had become victims of CFA's decision to expel the club.

"We have been suffering from shock, anger and despair in the past 10 days since the CFA banned our club from the first division league," said theletter.

"We are thankful of the CFA's move to protect players' rights but meanwhile we are deprived of job opportunities," the letter said.

Shaanxi province's Guoli club, playing in the northern city of Harbin since early this year, waskicked out of the first division and will be forbidden to play in all other official Chinese leagues for one year for failing to pay player's wages following the CFA's decision on April 2.
