Chinese all into Badminton Japan Open

Chinese wildcard shuttlers have all triumphed in the qualifying round of the Badminton Japan Open.

Gong Weijie and Niu Jiaping outclassed their respective opponents to enter the tournament. Gong's first round match will be against a compatriot, fifth seed Bao Chunlai.

Three female singles players also sailed into the tournament.

Chinese shuttlers also advanced in the women's doubles and mixed doubles.
