China dominates synchro diving

China dominated synchronized diving events in women's 3-meter springboard and 10-meter platform day Saturday at the FINA Diving Grand Prix.

The U.S. pair of Nancilea Underwood and Cassidy Krug finished third in the 3-meter event, which was won by Wu Minxia and Li Ting with 314.70 points in the southern Chinese city of Zhuhai.

China's Fang Ming and Hou Yuanyuan were second at 309.90, followed by the Americans at 272.04.

Jia Tong and Chen Ni captured the 10-meter platform with a score of 360.66. Liang Peiling and Zhao Qinxin of China were second with 329.94 points, and Loudy Tourky and Chantelle Newbery of Australia were third at 310.62.
