Bus blast kills about 30 in Jiangxi: police

About 30 people were killed in a bus explosion early Thursday morning in east China's Jiangxi Province, local police said.

A double-decker bus destined to eastern Zhejiang Province from Shenzhen City, southern Guangdong Province, blasted at about 4:00 a.m. on a local expressway near Shangrao City, also causing damage to nearby houses and injuries to local people.

Currently seven injured people are hospitalized.

Police said that the exact death toll is hard to tell now, as victims were exploded into pieces.

The expressway is currently blocked and investigation is going on.
