Bridge collapse kills 4 in Henan

An abrupt bridge collapse killed four people and injured four others Sunday in central China's Henan Province, local police said on Monday.

The tragedy occurred in Fugou County during a thorough repair to a five-hole arch bridge which had fell into disrepair over the years, leaving three dead at the scene and five others wounded. One of them died later in hospital.

Investigation into the cause is underway.
