由第五届华语电影传媒大奖评选出的“中国百部电影”、“中国百位导演”和“中国百位明星”在海内外引起了广泛讨论。近日，刘德华应组委会邀请，出任“中国电影百年形象大使”，代言中国百年电影各项活动，出席于3月20日在广州举行的第五届华语电影传媒大奖暨中国电影百年精英盛会，并代表中国百年电影精英在颁奖礼上致词。

Hong Kong singer and actor Andy Lau has been crowned ambassador for the 5th Chinese Film Media Award, which will be held on March 20th in south China's Guangzhou city.

The award evening will be a gala event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Chinese film.

Andy Lau will deliver a speech at the ceremony on behalf of hundreds who work in the industry.

The multi-award winning star says he is honored to be speaking at the centennial gala.

Andy Lau is a 20-year veteran of the Hong Kong film scene, with a total of 120 movies and 17 acting awards.
