The Bank of China (BOC) and China Construction Bank (CCB) are expected to be listed before long, Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China, the central bank, said Monday at a news conference on the sidelines of the ongoing National People's Congress.

Macro-control over the economic development in China is a long-term task for the Chinese government, Ma Kai, minister in charge of the State Development and Reform Commission, said Monday.
