An overwhelming 93 percent of Germans believe
their compatriot Michael Schumacher will win an eighth Formula One
drivers title in 2005.
Ferrari driver Schumacher, 36, cruised to the championship last year
and a survey by market research giant TNS Emnid concluded that no-one
would be able to stop the German from making more history.
Out of those questioned 93 percent tipped Schumacher for an eighth
triumph with Mclaren-Mercedes driver Kimi Raikkonen his nearest rival with
24 percent of the vote.
Schumacher's younger brother Ralf, now at Toyota, and Ferrari team-mate
Rubens Barrichello both received 23 percent of the vote.
The
2005 Formula One season begins on Sunday with the Melbourne Grand
Prix.
