Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved is due to miss the Italian soccer giants' Champions League second leg match against Real Madrid on March 9 after heads clash in their away match of the first leg last Tuesday.

The Czech international has been in a clinic since suffering concussion in Juve's 1-0 first leg defeat to Real in Madrid when he clashed heads with Spanish defender Raul Bravo.

Juventus said on Monday that after undergoing tests Nedved had been released from the clinic but needed seven days of rest at home.

Further tests for Nedved would be made on March 8 to decide when Nedved could begin training, according to the Italian club.

Nedved will also certainly be sidelined in Saturday's Serie A match when Juventus face Roma.
