Vice-Commerce Minister Yu Guangzhou says China will issue antitrust laws this year.

The minister says the law will help develop foreign trade.

The Ministry of Commerce will cooperate with the State Council and the National People's Congress to formulate the antitrust laws.

The ministry set up an antitrust research office in September last year to promote the process.
