record to an NBA best 29-4 as they eased past the Los Angeles Clippers 108-91 on
Saturday.
Marion had 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Suns while Nash added 10 points
and 10 assists.
Joe Johnson had a game-high 23 points for the Suns, who equaled their win
total from last season with the victory and improved to 15-2 on the road.
In San Antonio, Argentine Manu Ginobli scored 22 points and Frenchman Tony
Parker had 20 as the Spurs continued their domination at home with a 99-90 win
over the Denver Nuggets.
Twice NBA MVP Tim Duncan poured in 19 points and grasped nine rebounds as the
Spurs made the best home record in the league, losing their only home game this
season to the Seattle SuperSonicsin early December.
In Cleveland, LeBron James, still wearing a facemask to protecthis broken
cheekbone, had 22 points in 31-minute performance as the Cavaliers cruised to a
104-79 victory over New York Knicks.
In Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki drained 34 points and 13 rebounds and Michael Finley
had season high 33 points as the Mavericks crushed the Indiana Pacers 121-101 to
record their fifth consecutive victory.
In Washington, Gilbert Arenas poured in a season-high 40 points, including
eight in the final three minutes, to power the Wizards to their fourth straight
win with a 117-114 victory over the slumping Minnesota Timberwolves.
NBA MVP Kevin Garnett had 25 points, 19 rebound, eight assists and four
blocks but failed to keep the Timberwolves from sufferingtheir fifth loss in six
games.
In Orlando, Grant Hill had 22 points as Cuttino Mobley and HedoTurkoglu added
19 each as the Magic claimed a 104-101 victory overthe New Jersey Nets.
In Milwaukee, Michael Redd had 26 points as the Bucks beat the Utah Jazz
89-86, sending the Jazz to their ninth straight defeat.
In New Orleans, Baron Davis had 26 points, 17 assists and 10 rebounds for his
fourth career triple-double as the Hornets ended a 10 game-losing skid with
121-117 overtime win against the Sacramento Kings.
In Chicago, Kirk Hinrich had 22 points and 14 assists as the Bulls dumped the
Boston Celtics 102-91.
