New American visa to be issued

US Embassy and four US Consulate Generals in China and other American consulates around the world will begin offering a 12-month multi-entry visa from tomorrow for applicants on temporary business trips or tourism.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China also agreed to provide the same treatment to American citizens. Last year, the US Embassy and four Consulate Generals in China issued 228,600 non-immigration visas, among which 77 percent were for temporary business trips or tourism.
