The China State Post Bureau first issues a 5,000-batch of single post card featuring Diaoyu Islands. All the four pictures centred by the main island on the postal card are shot by Diaoyu Islands defending activist Li Yiqiang in early Jan. this year as he landed on the islands with another 19 activists.

The Diaoyu Islands, in the East China Sea between China and Japan, have belonged to China since ancient times. The islands are 120 nautical miles northeast of Taiwan, 200 nautical miles west of the Chinese mainland and 200 nautical miles east of Japan's southernmost island Okinawa. [thebeijingnews]
