A global consumption survey on the Internet shows that Hong Kong people rank first amongst 28 countries and regions when it comes to spending time in fast food restaurants.

About 60 percent of Hong Kong people interviewed go to fast food restaurants at least once a week, 26 percent more than in America. From January to September this year, every Hong Kong person went to a fast food restaurant seven times per month on average.

The convenience, low prices and the variety of foods are credited for fast food restaurants' popularity. Also, most Hong Kong people don't care much about the fame and brand of a restaurant.
