The baby, who has not yet been named, was born in a New York hospital early Tuesday to Tyler -- the daughter of rock legend and newly-minted grandfather Steven Tyler -- and her rock singer husband, Royston Langdon.

"They're thrilled," Tyler's publicist, Stephen Huvane, was quoted as telling People. "And they hope to have a name soon." Huvane could not immediately be reached for comment by AFP.

"My baby is so handsome I can't stand it," People quoted Tyler as telling a friend. "He also has full lips," she said in a reference to her Aerosmith frontman father's most famed feature.

The 27-year-old Tyler "had a relatively short labour and easy delivery," the celebrity magazine said.
