Landslide blocks expressway in Zhejiang

Highway landslide: A landslide occurred in the evening on December 11 at Liushi Township section along the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway in East China's Zhejiang Province. One side of the expressway of about 50 metres was blocked by about 3,000 cubic metres of earth and stones. Officials estimate the traffic may be resumed within two days if all goes well with the clean-up effort. It is reported that there were two passing vehicles when the landslide occurred, but no casualties were reported so far. [newsphoto]
