Memoirs of a Geisha , an epic drama based on the novel by Arthur Golden and produced by Hollywood heavyweight producer Steven Spielberg, has drawn a lot of attention in Asia because of the participation of such big names as Zhang Ziyi, Gong Li and Michelle Yeoh.

Posters of the film were released Monday to allow people a glimpse of the picture. It's the first time for Zhang to star in an English-language Hollywood movie.

Geisha tells the story in memoir form of Nitta Sayuri, a 9-year-old girl sold into slavery in Kyoto in 1929, who grows up to become one of Japan's most renowned geishas.
