Chinese awarded 3 crowns at AFC ceremony

Chinese have clinched three titles at the annual award ceremony of the Asian Football Confederation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

China's youth women's football team was awarded the Best Women's Team for their runner-up at the FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship.

Lu Jun was named the Best Referee, while the Chinese men's football team was granted the Fair Play Award.

In the heavy-weight selection of AFC Player of the Year, Iran's Ali Karimi beat off Bahrain's A'ala Hubail and Shunsuke Nakamura of Japan for the prestigious title.
