Beijing salaries rise (CRI) Updated: 2004-12-07 13:43 A report of 2004 domestic
salary shows that salaries at state-owned enterprises have, for the first time
exceeded those in foreign companies in China.
Salaries in state-owned
enterprises rose 19 percent.
The report also says Beijinger's salaries
are now higher than people's in Shanghai, with an average monthly income of 3764
yuan, or 430 USD on average.
Shenzhen in Guangdong province, southern
China, ranks first in average monthly income, above Beijing and shanghai, by an
average monthly income 4109 yuan, or 490 USD.
