HBO lands Shanghai

Shanghai pay channel users will be able to watch the HBO film channel since January 1st next year.

The project is a cooperation between CCTV, HBO and Shanghai Oriental Cable Network, which will give viewers about 50 films each month.

There are already more than 30 thousand pay channel users in Shanghai and this number is expected to rise to 50 thousand at the beginning of next year.
