Chinese film star Zhang Ziyi, who starred in the Oscar winning film 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', will launch her latest movie 'Purple Butterfly' in America.

The film, co-starring Chinese film actress Li Bingbing and Chinese king of film Liu Ye, will open in the U.S later this month.

Zhang Ziyi is one of the most successful Chinese actors this year with her martial-arts epic 'House of Flying Daggers' premiering in US tomorrow(on Friday).

Her first martial-arts hit 'Hero' dominated the North American box office for two weeks in September this year.
