Style Awards China 2004 opens

The Style Awards China 2004 has been unveiled in Shanghai Sunday night, with stars from Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong gracing the annual event.

Chinese renowned director Zhang Yimou's first martical-arts epic, Hero, was crowned as the Chinese Film Record Maker of world Box Office.


Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung [sina]
Zhang's second martial-arts blockbuster, House of Flying Daggers, also joined in the lineup of the shining stars as the winner of Film Record Maker Award in China.


Zhou Xun, mainland actress [sina]
Olympic diving champions Tian Liang and Guo Jingjing also showed up at the event and pocketed the Style Sports Star Awards.

Other stars appeared at the award ceremony including duo band Yu Quan, Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung, and singer and actress Karen Mok, and mainland actress Vicky Zhao.
