Desert area proven ancient forest

Northern Shaanxi Province was a forest millions of years ago, a recent
discovery of ancient cypress fossil proves.
A large amount of fossils were discovered by an inquisitive farmer in Ansai
County, who noticed something different in the patterns on several stones,
reports Chinese Business View.
Experts were called in to examine the fossil and claimed that there were
abundance of trees in the now desert area millions of years ago.
