Chinese men's national football team has held two training courses in Guangzhou to prepare for their crucial World Cup 2006 qualifier against Hong Kong later this month.

Eighteen of the 23 team members have arrived for the session, including Yu Genwei and Liu Yunfei of Tianjin Taida who have just arrived.

The remaining five players, including Everton Chinese midfielder Lie Tie and Munich 1860's Chinese midfielder Shao Jiayi are expected to arrive before next Monday.

Shenzhen midfielder Zheng Zhi says he is confident of winning the game against Hong Kong.

"I think anything is possible on the soccer field. We only won 1-0 six months ago, but I think we can beat them by large margin now. Besides, we now enjoy home field advantage."
