Taiwan screen legend Lam Ching-ha turns 50

Legendary Taiwan screen siren, Lan Ching-ha, Ling Qingxia in Mandarin, turns 50 today.

The Taiwan actress made her name for herself playing an adorable girl in the film based on Qiong Yao's love novel in 1973.

She then traveled to Hong Kong and started her legendary screen career in Chinese film circles which has lasted 20 years.

She has been dubbed the "Oriental Undefeatable" for her impressive beauty and starring role in martial arts epics.

Since quitting the screen, Lan Ching-ha has been married for ten years and has two daughters
