Maggie Cheung bids goodbye to the screen

During the 2004 Louis Vuitton Hawaii International Film Festival, Maggie Cheung said she was going to take a break from the silver screen in 2005.

"I won't do any film in the coming year unless the script really attracts me," said Cheung, also one of the festival's jury panelist.

The Hong Kong-based actress was awarded the tilte of "Versatile Performer" to celebrate her dedication to the world film industry.

"Clean", the movie, which won her a Cannes Best-Actress Award, was screened at the festival, and was very well received.
