China to fight Kuwait at World Cup qualifier

A 33-strong Chinese soccer team, led by head coach Arie Hann, arrived in Kuwait Monday to prepare for the upcoming World Cup qualifying tournament.

Star Chinese defender Li Weifeng has received 100 per cent permission from Hann to play in the starting line-up.

China will play Kuwait on Wednesday.

China is on top in its group with 12 points, and are favoured to win the match after defeating Kuwait 1-nil at home this February.
