Asian Athletics Federation award for Liu Xiang

Chinese Olympic 110m hurdles champion Liu Xiang will be presented with an award by the Asian Athletics Federation at the All-Star Championships in Singapore.

The award is to mark his outstanding contribution to the sport.

Chinese Olympic 10,000 meter champion Xing Huina and two Japanese Olympic gold medalists will also receive the award.

21-year-old Liu Xiang clocked 13.31 seconds to win over US rival Allen Johnson at the IAAF All-Star Tournament last Thursday.

He also clocked 13.44 seconds to win at the China track and field final on Sunday.
