Man eats 18 mooncakes in 90 seconds
A mooncake eating contest has been won by a young man who devoured 18 in just 90 seconds. His prize - a gigantic mooncake one metre in diameter and weighing in at a whopping 20 kilograms. The contest to see who could eat the most mooncakes, a delicious Chinese food, in the shortest time, was held in the Sichuan Provincial capital of Chengdu. Twenty contestants took part. The winner, surnamed Zhang, can finish off a 25-gram mooncake in two bites, reports the Chengdu Evening News. Mooncakes are given and eating across China to celebrate the Moon Festival which this year falls tomorrow. |
