"Kill Bill" star settles in China

在港台艺人纷纷回归内地的同时,韩国、日本等地的明星也看中了中国市场。日前,在《杀死比尔》中扮演少女杀手而一鸣惊人的日本超人气女星栗山千明,签约于北京星泽国际影视公司,成为第一个落户北京的日本明星。

 

The most popular Japanese "hit woman," Chiaki Kuriyama, has signed up with a Chinese film and TV company to kick her way into the country's film market, reported CRIENGLISH.com.

Chiaki Kuriyama, who is the first Japanese film actress to move to China to further her career, will join the Xingze Film and TV Company in Beijing.

The 20-year old actress shot to famed with her role as 'don't mess with me' Go Go Yubari, whose fight scene with Uma Thurman begins the climactic battle of Kill Bill: Volume 1.

Kill Bill is full of memorable villains, from the feisty Vernita Green (Vivica Fox) to the calm and cool Oren Ishii (Lucy Liu). Then there are subvillains like Go Go Yubari, the Japanese school girl who wields a ball and chain.
