GOP（Grand Old Party）

美国共和党全国代表大会30日通过了该党纲领，支持布什对恐怖主义进行“先发制人”的打击，并称没有一个国际组织能够替代美国的领导地位。纲领还赞扬了布什2001年1月就任总统以来的行动，明确表示反恐战争是布什争取竞选连任的一个中心议题。外电报道如下：Republicans are turning to conditions at home after saluting President Bush as a wartime president whose leadership is "rock solid".
