This book shows President Bush as he really is. I particularly enjoyed
the interest that Pres. Bush showed towards education and reading. This
from a man that is supposedly uneducated.
President Bush's growth from running for governor in the state of
Texas, becoming the most popular Texas governor in history and then on to
the white house was very exciting.
Then on to 9/11, the Enron scandal and how this misunderestimated
President handled that chaos along with the economic downfall that this
President inherited was exciting.
A Matter of Character shows the real George Bush. It shows how
PresidentBush and First Lady Laura Bush show incredible respect for
everyone they deal with including secret service people, limo drivers,
maids, the chef even the gardener. The Bush's treat everyone with respect
and dignity.
No doubt the popularity of this book and it's timing is very
disheartening to the anti-Bush crowd. All I can say is TOO BAD! We heard
all of the trash from the anti-Bush crowd now it's great to read the truth
about our President from a man who actually voted for Al Gore in 2000, was
neutral and took a great deal of time to research the facts.
A Matter of Character would make a great reference guide for the rest
of us. If everyone had the respect for other people like President George
W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush do, I sincerely feel that a lot of
problems in this world could be avoided.
I highly recommend A Matter of Character for anyone who wants to learn
what true character and integrity are all about.
