Kindergarten building collapses, killing 2

A building at an unlicensed Chinese kindergarten collapsed Tuesday, killing two children and burying dozens of others, a news report said.

Twenty-eight children were taken to hospitals after the disaster in the central city of Jiyuan, Henan Province, Xinhua News Agency said.

The cause of the collapse was under investigation, the report said.

The kindergarten was illegally run by villager Miao Xin, Xinhua said, citing the Jiyuan city government.
