applied to add 18 new weekly cargo flights to China under a new Sino-US aviation
agreement, including six to a new destination, Qingdao, a city of East China's
Shandong Province.
FedEx now operates 11 flights a week between the United States and the

Qingdao, Cunningham said in a telephone conference call.
China and the United States recently signed a new aviation deal that
gradually will raise the number of cargo and passenger flights between the two
nations to 249 per week, up from the current 54.
