Chinese housing price up 10.4%

China's housing sale price in the second quarter this year grew 10.4 percent year on year, according to a survey by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on real estate markets in 35 major cities.

The price level was 2.3 percent higher than the first quarter this year, and the land price in the second quarter rose 11.5 percent year on year. The survey showed that Shanghai, Ningbo, Tianjin, Nanjing and Chongqing cities witnessed the highest growth rate of housing price level.

In the second quarter, Shanghai's housing price grew 21.4 percent year on year, according to the survey.
