Student glues her eyelids when repairing shoes

A college girl who wanted to repair her sandals glued her eyes shut, reports Chutian Metropolis News.

Pan, who studies in a college in Wuhan in Hubei Province, bought a bottle of super glue to repair her sandals on Saturday.

Pan pressed the bottle too hard and the glue sprayed out and covered her eyes.

Pan could not open her eyes and felt great pain and heat in them. She was rushed to hospital to receive treatment.

Doctors said the cornea of Pan's eyes was damaged but her sight was saved, thanks to timely action.
