An unknown actress has been cast as Harry Potter's first girlfriend.

Katie Leung, 16, has landed the role of the young wizard's love, Cho Chang, in the fourth movie, 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.'

Harry, played by 15-year-old Daniel Radcliffe, develops a crush on fellow student Cho, who he competes against in the magical sport quidditch and with whom he shares his first kiss.

A source revealed: "The film producers and author JK Rowling wanted an unknown for the part of Cho Chang and Katie's absolutely perfect. She's pretty, intelligent and has a great future ahead of her."
