Shanghai to host 'Marine Port China 2004'

'Martine Port China 2004,' sponsored by the China Ports and Harbours Association (CPHA) and the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, and organized by The Exhibition Office of CPHA and Shanghai International Exhibition Co Ltd, is to be held at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center from May 11-14, 2004.

Since its debut in 1987, the fair has provided both local and international vendors a perfect platform for exhibiting new technologies and products, as well as for holding trade negotiations.

During the fair, more than 120 exhibitors from Germany, Russia, the United

States, Sweden, Japan, the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong SAR will focus on areas including, the newest planning and construction of domestic and overseas ports; IT and port modernization management; port packer/unpacker and multimodal transport technologies and devices and port logistics, storage & equipment.

During the period, an international logistics exhibition will also be held with a total exhibition area of 23,000 square meters.
