Gas leak in Chongqing kills nine

Firefighters are diluting the toxin chlorine gas spewed by a chemical plant in Jiangbei District of southweatern Chongqing municipality April 16, 2004. The accident killed at least 9 people and forced 150,000 to evacuate.  [newsphoto]
