Subway collapse

Guangzhou's Subway Line 3, now under construction, caved in at the Lijiao Station in south China's Guangdong Province April 1, 2004. The collapse of its underground supporting system shifted a building north of the station and nearby apartment buildings were also affected. Rescue teams at the scene reported no casualties.
