'Love contract' has no legal validity: Lawyers

A young woman in Fujian Province recently tried to tie her boyfriend to a "love contract," reports Modern Express.

She asked lawyer to draft a contract covering their love affair and marriage; among the clauses was that they should be in love for at least five years and if one of them wants to break up, he or she should pay the other 50,000 yuan (US$ 6024).

Another item said that they should get married after five years and their marriage should last 40 years.

However, lawyers do not think such a contract had legal validity.

Granny's black hair astounds family

A 86-year-old granny has started sprouting black hair on her head recently, astounding her family, reports Modern Express.

Chen, who lives in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province, originally had all-white hair but some days ago, the family noticed she started growing black hair; and by Monday, almost half of her hair turned black.

According to Li Qingtian, professor and well-known nutritionist at Nanjing Medical University, the phenomenon of rejuvenescence was very rare, which might be caused by hormonal changes; and he suggested that the woman go to see a doctor.

Jumping with umbrella saves woman from fire

A 70-year-old woman survived a fire accident by jumping from the fourth floor balcony holding an open umbrella early on Sunday, reports Metropolis Express.

Wang Fangqing of Cangnan County, Zhejiang Province, unfurled an umbrella when she saw the fire and jumped onto the roof of a two-storey building under the balcony.

She was only slightly injured but her daughter-in-law and granddaughter died in the fire.

Tiger tattoo on chest causes three divorces

A man was divorced three times only because the tattoo of tiger on his breast is too terrifying, report Modern Express.

Hu, who lives in Lishui County, Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province, had the tiger tattooed when he was young.

His first wife left him after he tried to remove the tattoo but doctors couldn't help.

And the third wife parted ways for the same reason on Monday - and one of Hu's friends said that he would never keep a wife unless he erased the tattoo.
