China crush Finland in Algarve Cup

Han Duan's hat-trick helped China trounce Finland 4-0 in their second match in Group B action of the women's Algarve Cup in Quarteira, Portugal on Tuesday.

In Group A, France staged a surprise for World Cup runner-up Sweden after beating its opponent 3-0 while the defending championUnited States downed Denmark 1-0.

Former world champion Norway crushed Italy 3-0 in another GroupB match.

The winners of the two groups meet in Sunday's final of the invitation tournament.

China stands in second in Group B with three points after suffering an unexpected 1-0 loss to Italy in their opening match on Sunday. Norway tops the group by three points from China, who meet on Thursday.

The United States leads Group A with six points from two games,and can reach the championship match with at least a draw or low-scoring loss to Sweden, which has three points, on Thursday in thelast group games.

Han Duan notched a hat trick for China and Zhang Ouying got theother goal.
