A Haitian man hits a suspected multiple assassin with a machete in Petit Goave, Haiti some 50 kms south of Port-au-Prince March 3, 2004 -- three days after the departure of exiled president Jean Bertrand Aristide who sought temporary refuge in the Central African Republic. The suspected assassin was arrested by armed citizens of Petit Goave who proceeded to stone him and then burn him alive. [Reuters]
