Seventy-six people in southwest China's Yunnan province have been treated for food poisoning after attending a wedding party.

The wedding party was held at a restaurant in Luxi county Monday, and in the subsequent 48 hours, a growing number have sought medical help for nausea, vomiting, fatigue, headache and diarrhea, Xinhua news agency reported Wednesday.

The county hospital has set up a special team to treat the victims, who are all out of danger, and the county health bureau has taken food samples and started investigations into the cause of the poisoning, Xinhua said.
