Groundwork for U. S. was basically laid by psycho religious nuts

The United States has the highest rate of divorce in the industrialized world, so what of this "sacred institution" is there that's left to be destroyed?

The U. S. constitution was designed to protect Americans' rights, not limit them; a constitutional amendment saying that certain people (gays) can't get married would go against its principles.

Even though the United States, in principle, is supposed to stand for freedom and justice and everything, the groundwork for this country was basically laid by psycho religious nuts, and it is they who still control the US today.

People like Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, George Bush, and Rick Santorum (if you despise that guy as much as I do and have a dark sense of humor) represent the antithesis of the American values they claim to represent. The Republican Party's platform claims that it aims for "smaller government," but in reality, all these people want is to let the government have more control over people's personal lives.

So, king, based on your statement that gay marriage will cause society to unravel, I have a challenge for you: just prove it!
