(Taiwan's) Chen Shui-bian must be pondering now what all this military get-together between the US and China is all about?

Clearly the US military is distancing itself from Chen shui-bian. The US concern they may be duped into an America-China war serving no national interest of America, but the ambition of the Taidu (Taiwan independence) figures.

My reading into this increasing Sino-US military contacts and warming-up relationship is that the flurry of the visits by the two militaries is to prevent an accidental America-China War. Very wise! US politicians and generals must not be duped.

The US flambéed the derrière of A-bian!

Very latest I heard was China will not be tricked into rhetoric over the Taiwan presidential election on March 20. That is what I say is cool. Play it smart and by the ears. Say nothing. See and hear. Do nothing at least for now.
