Tear gas

近日，数百名科特迪瓦示威者在法军驻地外举行抗议活动，要求法军撤离。抗议者还同当地警方发生了冲突，警察发射了催泪瓦斯。外电中有这样的报道：Anti-riot police launched tear gas as they battled young, stone throwing demonstrators near the Ivory Coast's capital of Abidjan. 催泪瓦斯(tear gas)是指刺激眼睛并引起眩目而流泪的各种试剂，通常从手榴弹或抛射弹中发射出来。尽管一些科特迪瓦人要求法国部队离开目前的停火线，但法军将继续留在科特迪瓦以维持该国的稳定。
